What is BEE?
Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) is a South African government policy designed to advance economic transformation and increase the participation of Black people (African, Coloured, and Indian South African citizens) in the country's economy. Established after the dismantling of apartheid, BEE aims to address the historical economic inequalities created by that system.
